New Look Denim Competition Entry: date night

I've decided to go for a gothic 'date night' outfit, by matching a quilted black leather lacket with a statement red peplum top, 'dirty' acid wash jeans and a simple pair of black studded boots.

Gothic fashion has become very popular recently whether its a skater dress teamed up with a pair of chunky biker boots or a pair of coloured jeans with a heavily studded leather jacket, its all in! 

Below is what i would personally wear on a date, its simple but looks like you've made an effort. i would push the sleeves on the leather jacket up slightly and roll up the jeans so a little bit of my ankle is showing before the boots start.

'Dirty acid wash jeans', £22.99:

The next thing i've chosen is:

'Random theory black quilted leather jacket', £119.99:

This jacket is utterly gorgeous!! The simple style with cut out quilted sections makes this jacket different from all the rest, its also got a brown zip(which blends in) and easy accessible pockets either side. the next thing i have chosen is:

'Red peplum sleeveless shell top, £8.99"
This top is key on autum/winter trend for 2012, its an automatic wardrobe must have! The main reason everyone loves this style of top is because its an optical illusion, the style of the top is very tight until the bottom of the rib cage where it flairs out. Because it flairs out there it automatically draws your eyes to the ribcage area(the slimmest bit!!) all very hard to explain and i'll try not to ramble on but im sure many of you get what im explaining, i hope hehe :)

My final choice:

'Limited black leather studded boots', £69.99:

I'm in love with these chunky studded boots, if you're trying to go for the 'gothic' style you need to buy yourself a pair of these boots like now, they're gorgeous! These are probably a winter must have, they're leather, chunky and they're studded..what more could you want?!
